The Definitive Guide to Data Analytics Training Series – Session 3: Introduction to Power BI
In this session, we’ll provide an introduction to creating an interactive dashboard in Power BI by walking through the creation of a college football dashboard, featuring games going back to 1935 (when the AP poll began). You should have been able to create a Power BI dashboard looking something like the one below by the end of the training session!
Here are the files used in this lesson:
- College Football Games.xlsx workbook
- Weather.csv CSV file
- Football Icons.pptx PowerPoint file
- Python code (Jupyter notebook) used to create the College Football Games.xlsx workbook and Weather.csv file (not needed for this session, just for your reference; watch the Python training session to learn how to use this!)
- Final College Football Game Dashboard Demo.pbix Power BI Desktop File
